Department of Corrections Waikeria Prison Development
In conjunction with CPB Contractors, the Greenmount team has successfully completed the supply and installation of joinery for the Department of Corrections NZ’s Waikeria Prison Development.
The Waikeria facility currently accommodates 460 individuals, and with the expansion, capacity will increase by an additional 600 spaces, strengthening the department’s ability to serve the community.
Greenmount’s scope included joinery for both prisoner and non-prisoner areas, such as reception counters in the high-tech gatehouse, fittings in the on-site medical service area, and joinery throughout the upgraded recreational and wellbeing spaces.
